AIRFISH-3

Based on the experience with AF-1 and AF-2 the design of Airfish–3 started at RFB Rhein - Flugzeugbau GmbH under license and consultancy of Fischer–Flugmechanik.

First flight was 1989 Airfish–2 now is exihibited in a museum.

In order to collect experience with Power Augmented Ground Effect Craft, the Airfish–3 was equipped with two additional Weslake engines at the nose, which propeller stream was directed below the wings. Thus, equipped with 3 engines, Airfish–3PA (Power Augumented) was an ideal test bed and gave valuable experience of power augmentation.
